The renowned healing power of Greenaway’s Herbal Ointments results from the use of traditional techniques combining fresh herbs, cold-pressed seed and nut oils, and beeswax. The ointments contain only natural ingredients and are blended by hand.

All the herbs used are organically grown, mainly in the Greenaway’s garden in the rural Eastern Cape village of Bathurst. The garden is pollinated by our own bees and we produce our own beeswax – a potent healer and natural preservative.

We use freshly picked herbs in unsparing quantities to ensure the highest healing potential of our ointments.

Greenaway’s Herbal Ointments began in 1999 after my daughter was born.

At that stage it was almost impossible to find completely natural baby products in the shops.

Knowing that much of what we put on our skins is absorbed into the bloodstream, I decided to make my own all-natural ointments to use on her delicate skin.
